The federal electorate of Gellibrand, located in Melbourne's inner western suburbs of Victoria, is a diverse and vibrant area encompassing suburbs such as Altona, Yarraville, Footscray, and Williamstown. Established in 1949, it is one of the safest Labor seats in Australia, reflecting its historically strong working-class roots and multicultural community.
